THE AFCP TIMES YEAR END EDITION:DECEMBER '09 ISSUE

Journalists : Abdul Moiz & Abhilasha Dafria
Editor: Abhilasha Dafria

.
Sorry Sorry Sorry and sorry for the delay. Here we are with the December 2009 year ending edition of The AFCP Times. With the season-end reviews to victorious interviews this edition we have it all. We apologize for the delay but hopefully we have made it to you in the quality of the paper! Enjoy reading! And remember: WE MAKE SHIT LOOK GOLD!!
.
Aye! Aye! Captain!
.
We managed to interview the Captain of the victory-smelling captain Ankur Dalal in his relaxing American Holiday home. Here are the excerpts :
.
Let me begin saying Congratulations to your victory. Its obvious but I still ask :How does it feel to win?
It feels great. After knocking at the door for 3 seasons and just missing it, it's feels absolutely wonderful to have finally won it.
.
We did see a lot of wonderful talent being pulled into the league this season. However do you think it was Felipe who brought you this victory?
It was a collective team effort and Felipe did play a very important role in guiding us to glory :)
.
Ankur, a few insiders told me, you could deny it if at all…It is rumoured that your senior player Akshay Jha who plays central defender has quit the league because he couldn’t take Amey Kelkar joining another club, for the obvious affection they share. Are the rumours of Akki quitting true?
False. Sheer baseless rumors.
.
If you say so. However, though you are now a complete team, who wud u like to see at the arsenalists?
Currently we have a pretty good unit. Though our scouts are always on the lookout for talent ;)
.
Do you think this season also goes in your hand, Ankur? How high do you rate the curse of the top, or do you think its highly superstitious?
Its highly superstitious. We are here to do the double and we'll prove all doubters wrong by winning the title again.

Lastly, any thank-giving speeches?
It's difficult to compress it in 2 lines, so I'll just Thank every member of my team for their energy, hard work, dedication throughout the season. I'll also like to Thank all the other teams for always giving us a good fight and pushing us to our limits.
.
Thank you for your precious time Sir and good luck for the next league.

TOP-5 Transfers (Season-5)
]No.5-Vacas ‘the raider’ [Free agent-Goonraiders]
.
By “I won’t allow the thing you desire even if my life depends on it”
.
From being called the hostile dictator to the pet dog, Vacas Areph had earned each and every name this world could have thrown at him.In need of new challenges and to capitulate more innocent victims, he thought of joining the Goonraiders and after being quietly requested by the ‘innocent’ Moiz-a senior player-not to join their team, Vacas gleefully raided the Raiders outfit.
.
The mention of Vacas in this elite list lies not because of his exquisite performances on the pitch but rather his inability to even get his feet on the ball. The signing of Vacas Areph may have caused ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ from other players but it was none the less a signing which had more glamour than true class.
.
Vacas Areph’s only glorious moment was when he tried to ban the player who fouled him but when the referee informed the ‘dictator’ that this was the referee’s playground, Vacas tried to use his ‘buttons’ on him which resulted in Vacas being set off. This sums up this transfer rather excellently
.
Me says: Mr.Vacas should leave this game with a bit respect by allowing the ‘AFCP Times Centre’ on his own luxurious one room apartment.

No.4-Mitul ‘the Wenger fraand’[Late Pirates-W.Boy]
By “I cant change my DP”
.
Mitul Shah,an ex-pirate comes into our list at No.4.An impressive central defender,Mitul was rather pirated from the Pirates.Saumeet Nanda-captain of Wengaboys-envisaged the demise of Pirates and Mitul’s signing proved to be the first dent on their rusty old ship.
.
Mitul who was signed in an exchange for Gautham was a steel in the eyes of many while many predicted that the deal included a beer bath for Addy and Rohan as well.Whatever the case, the fraandly warrior played impressively and saved the Wengaboys from relegation. The ex-pirate remained in the news not only with his sterling plans of skyscrapers and their failures but also with his constant allegations towards his former captain. It seems that the warheads of Mitul struck the Pirates ship with deadly venom as the Pirates only survived a season after parting ways with this luck charm.
.
Me asks:Who’s next to be dephoosed,Mitul?

No.3-Fazal ‘Our own Ade’[Arsenalists-Evol. Gunrs]
By ‘You wont see me but in the summer’
.
Mr.Fazal occupies the third spot on this hugely important list.Fazal, the giant striker, claimed he wasn’t truly respected by Arsenalists and wanted to move to any team on the planet. After having called each n every team himself,AR made him an EG and got paid by Arsenalists for doing so.
.
The man seemed to have turned a corner after signing for the so called ‘mediocre’ EG team and showed his class by delivering great goals against his former team. This change was short lived though and Fazal reportedly lost all the passion he had acquainted for the game and played without any enthusiasm. The dip in form for EG was directly proportional to that as well. But as the transfer window came closer again,Fazal in a bid to impress another team again banged some goals but with no one coming in for him,he might have again gone into hibernation till the summer.
His captain,Abdul Rehman says‘He is the transfer of the season. He is awesome .”
.
Me says:Yeah,AR,he will be THE transfer of next season too!
.
.
No.2-Jagadeesh ‘tapped upped runner’[Goonraiders-Gunrunners]
.
By “Let me go or I will go myself”
.
Jagadeesh Nair is one of the most respected people in this game.He came in with a huge reputation but zilch experience. After remaining injured for the whole of his time at Goonraiders.Abhilashal Dafria offered ‘Jaggu’ a stunning one trillion dollars contract.Jagadeesh without completing his time with Goonraiders left for Gunrunners, creating some controversy but in the end the innocent Raiders gave up the case.
.
Jagadeesh Nair seemingly had an excellent effect on the team. The ‘walking’ Gunrunners looked transformed and his arrival coincided with the team giving Arsenalists a run for their money in mid season.Jagadeesh is a gritty footballer and his performance against the Raiders must be his highlight where he shaked hands with Mufaddal after scoring an own goal.
.
Me says: Your age is to open charity schools with Akki not to betray innocent people.

No.1-Felipe [Freebie-Arsenalists]
By “Sorrowfully thankful”
.
Felipe Hassin, the English forward was arguably the best signing that could have ever been done.Nominated the best transfer by almost everyone,he was a steal for only getting him to win two bets of 1$ each.Ankur Dalal was the mastermind behind this move, proving his credentials as the one who has the eye which Ms.Dafria certainly lacks-the one to poach excellent players.
.
Felipe reaches the top in our rankings because of his emotional speeches to the opposition teams rather than for his blockbuster performances. His emotional speeches had the opposition team so pumped up to play with politeness that they ended up gifting goals to Arsenalists time and again.Whatever be the case,Felipe Hassin graced this league with not only his appearance but attracted some British chics in the crowd for the enjoyment of the players, managers and old citizens alike.
.
Me says:You got Top rank in this prestigious list, here, you deserve your Goonraider shirt:P
